As a member of the Corporate Team at Pacific Prime, your role is to support the Business Development Manager in acquiring new customers, cross-selling with extensive client base as well as coordinating with other global offices on opportunities. Additionally, you will provide valuable analytical project support for both new and established clients.

You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to serving small and medium-sized enterprises as well as multinational organizations. Responsibilities

Advisory

  • Conducting comprehensive technical reviews, including benchmarking and gap analysis.
  • Providing expert advice to clients on placement design, potential coverage enhancements, pricing and other relevant areas.
  • Designing and customizing insurance solutions to meet specific needs of clients.
  • Compiling and preparing materials such as memorandums, proposals, employee handbooks, presentations and other relevant broking documents.

Consultant

  • Identify and contact new sales leads through emails and phone calls to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Pitch Pacific Prime services to potential clients.
  • Attend conferences, meetings and networking events.
  • Conduct research to identify new leads and decision makers.
  • Organizing company seminars and strategically selecting conferences and events with the highest (ROI) to maximize business development opportunities.
  • Manage CRM for inbound leads from online, other Pacific Prime offices and partnerships.
  • Master Pacific Prime technology solutions and execute client demonstrations.

Client solutions

  • Cultivating and nurturing relationships with prospective Clients.
  • Developing relationships with providers, partners and key market stakeholders.
  • Managing the placement of new business cases assigned and on-going support to the Account Managers for management of placed polices
  • Proactively overseeing and renewing a portfolio of group client accounts, encompassing various sizes and premium values
  • Conducting meticulous line-by-line reviews of final proposals, ensuring clarify on benefits, exclusions, definitions, and terminology.
  • Collaborating with the administration team to streamline the renewal process, from pre-renewal stages to post-renewal completion, including all necessary paperwork.
  • Generating comprehensive claims reports tailored to client requirements, utilizing either as presentation or reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline, with 2-3 years of experience in sales/business development in employee benefits industry.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong emphasis on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Successfully completed IIQE Papers I, II, and III.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Resourceful problem solver with the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Desire to develop knowledge and expertise in the employee benefits industry.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to act in a consultative role, providing valuable insights and guidance to clients.
  • Proficient in IT tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
